(1) Under this rule, the person requesting correction of age, name or caste must submit an application for correction within 6 months from the date of receipt of the certificate stating his name, caste and age.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), persons who have received the certificate before the deadline specified in the said sub-rule, if they wish to correct their name, caste or age, may apply for correction within two years of the publication of these amendments in the Nepal Gazette.
